Official Rules of the Money on the Mountain Giveaway

Eligibility and Permission

  1. Void where prohibited.
  2. No purchase is necessary.
  3. Contest open to any person 18 years of age or older as of their date of entry and is a legal citizen of and resides in the United States.
  4. Pinetop-Lakeside Chamber of Commerce, Show Low Chamber of Commerce, Snowflake/Taylor Chamber of Commerce, Springerville-Eagar Chamber of Commerce, Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce, Spider Trainers, and chamber members listed on www.moneyonthemountain.com in the prize section are the sponsors of this contest.
  5. Contest is in no way associated with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, or any other third party other than as noted.
  6. By entering this contest, entrant agrees to allow his or her email address to be used by the sponsors for the purpose of sending future correspondence or promotions to the entrant. Entrant may opt out of this list at any time without affecting his or her eligibility for winning the Money on the Mountain Giveaway.
  7. Employees and immediate family members living in the same household as a Chamber of Commerce or Spider Trainers employee(s) or owner are not eligible for participation.
  8. Acceptance of a prize shall constitute and signify the winner's agreement and consent the Chambers of Commerce and Spider Trainers may use the winner's name, likeness, and/or prize information for advertising and promotional purposes in any media without further compensation, except where prohibited.
  9. The Money on the Mountain Giveaway begins 12:01 AM (AMT) 1 October 2016, and ends at 4 P.M. on 31 October 2016 ("Entry Period").

Prize

  1. The grand prize is to be determined and will grow in value when and if Chamber of Commerce members contribute to the Grand Prize.
  2. By claiming the prize, the winner waives the right to claim any cost of winning the prize including, without limitation, any and all costs of verification and redemption, or travel to redeem the prize, and bears in full any liability arising from redeeming or seeking to redeem the prize. Winner agrees to pay any shipping and/or freight expenses, taxes, surcharges, or penalties assessed or levied by any authorized agency or transport company.
  3. The prize is fully transferable, but must be accepted as offered.
  4. Prize may not be exchanged for cash equivalent, and no refunds will be issued.
  5. The Sponsors will make three good-faith attempts to deliver the prize. If the third attempt is unsuccessful, winner hereby agrees to forfeit the entire prize and another entry will be randomly drawn from the remaining eligible entries received.
  6. The $1,000 cash award will be distributed within 7 days of validating eligibility and notifying the winner. Prizes provided by sponsors will be distributed to the winner in part or in whole within 30 days of validating eligibility and notifying the winner.

Award of Prize

  1. A random drawing will be held before midnight of the 31st of October 2016 from all eligible entries received and the Sponsors will make three good-faith attempts to notify the selected entrant by mail and/or email within seven (7) days of the drawing.
  2. The chances of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.

Requirements of the Winner

  1. Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant will be required to sign a release form, confirming compliance with the contest rules, acceptance of the prize as offered, and releasing the Sponsors, and their respective employees and agents from any responsibility for any injury, accident, loss, damages, misfortune, or expense resulting from the use or enjoyment of the prize(s).
  2. If the selected entrant is unwilling or unable to comply with the contest rules within two weeks of the drawing, the selected entrant will be disqualified and another entry will be randomly drawn from the remaining eligible entries received.

How to Enter with Purchase

  1. Make any type of purchase (e.g., groceries, gifts, supplies, utility, fuel, and so on) in the participating communities of Christopher Creek, Concho, Concho Valley, Eagar, Happy Jack, Heber, Kohls Ranch, Lakeside, Overgaard, Payson, Pine, Pinetop, St. Johns, Show Low, Snowflake, Springerville, Star Valley, Strawberry, Taylor, Vernon, or Young between the dates of 1 October 2016 and 4 P.M., 31 October 2016.
  2. Submit original, or scan or make a copy, of each receipt ensuring the name and zipcode of the merchant and total amount paid is clearly visible. Submit to one of the Sponsors' locations my fax, mail, email, or drop-off. Include your first and last name, address, telephone number, and email address either within the email or on a separate sheet of paper (for drop off, mail, or fax).
  3. There is no limit to the number of entries (receipts) you may submit. Each receipt constitutes a single entry and single chance to win.
  4. Entries at the website using the upload function must be through human submission — use of automated-entry software or entry through other mechanical or automated computer means is prohibited.
  5. Sponsors are not responsible for postal system, telephone, network, electronic, or computer failures of any kind, or for entries that are incomplete, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, misdirected, lost, stolen, or otherwise illegible.
  6. All entries become the property of the Sponsors, and will not be returned to entrant.
  7. Void in Puerto Rico and wherever else prohibited. If the random winner is chosen in a country, state, or region prohibiting such promotions, winner automatically forfeits prize winnings and another entry will be randomly drawn from the remaining eligible entries received. No winnings will be distributed until the winner's country and regional rules regarding the receipt of such a prize can be verified.

  1. No purchase is necessary.
  2. To enter the contest without purchase, entrant must submit partially complete or entirely complete no-purchase-necessary forms stamped or signed by businesses located in the participating communities of Christopher Creek, Concho, Concho Valley, Eagar, Happy Jack, Heber, Kohls Ranch, Lakeside, Overgaard, Payson, Pine, Pinetop, St. Johns, Show Low, Snowflake, Springerville, Star Valley, Strawberry, Taylor, Vernon, or Young by upload, mail, fax, or drop-off at a Sponsor location. General Conditions

Errors or omissions

Sponsors are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any giveaway-related materials, deleted, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or illegible entries. Sponsors and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and internet-access providers are not responsible for incorrect entry of information by entrants, or technical malfunctions of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof, entry materials tampered with, human error, or lost/delayed data transmission; or transactions processed late, incorrectly or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction.

Waivers

  1. By entering the giveaway, winner and entrants agree to waive any and all claims against Sponsors, its affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives for personal injury or loss that may occur from participation in the giveaway or from the receipt of use of any prize.
  2. By entering the giveaway, winner and entrants agree to hold harmless and waive any and all claims against the platform on which the contest has been posted, which may include Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram, for personal injury or loss that may occur from participation in the giveaway.

Entry validity

  1. In the event a dispute arises over the identity of an internet entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the email account at time of entry.
  2. Entry materials tampered with or altered are void. No copies, facsimiles or reproductions of online entry form will be accepted. Proof of emailing does not constitute proof of delivery. If sponsor determines in its sole discretion any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the promotion occurs, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the promotion, the sponsor, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to void any entries submitted fraudulently and cancel or modify the promotion. Any attempt by any entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of the promotion is in violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsors, reserves the right to reject any individual submission deemed to be fraudulent in Sponsors' sole discretion.

Early termination of contest

Sponsors reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel this promotion if it becomes technically corrupted such that it cannot be conducted as originally planned and select winners by random drawing from among all eligible entries received by this termination date. Should the promotion be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted here as an addition to the official rules.

No warranty

SPONSOR AWARDS PRIZES SUBJECT ONLY TO MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY, WITHOUT WARRANTY BY SPONSOR OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITHOUT LIMITATION.

Compliance with US tax regulations

Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The winner remains solely responsible for paying all federal and other taxes in accordance with the laws applicable in their state of residence.
